FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
-
Will I remember everything from the hypnosis session?
Yes, most people remember everything, just like recalling a vivid meditation or deep conversation.
-

I can't make my appointment

-
What issues can hypnotherapy and psychotherapy help with?

-
Is Hypnosis like what you see on stage or in movies?
Not at all. Clinical hypnosis is nothing like stage hypnosis. In therapy, you’re fully aware, deeply relaxed, and focused on healing and shifting, not barking like a dog or clucking like a chicken!
-
Will I lose control during my hypnosis session?
No, during your hypnosis session you will remain in complete control and fully conscious the entire time. Hypnosis is a natural, relaxed state of heightened awareness, much like meditation, where your mind becomes more focused and open to positive suggestions.
You won't be made to do or say anything you don't want to. You can speak, move, or even end the session at any time if you choose. In fact, all hypnosis is self-hypnosis, you're simply being guided into a deeper connection with your own mind and inner resources.
-
Is hypnosis safe?
Yes, hypnosis is a safe, natural process guided by a trained professional. You are always in control, and nothing will happen that isn’t in your best interest. In fact a 2016 Stanford University study using FMRI scans found that during hypnosis, there are measurable changes in brain activity related to focused attention and self-awareness, confirming it's a real and natural state, not sleep or mind control.
